Completely USELESS
With Hurricane Sandy about to make landfall in New Jersey, the ‘Radar’ page only shows the Caribbean and the East Coast up to South Carolina.
‘Local Satellite’ flashed a tri-state area map (NY NJ and Conn) then zeroed on a static outline of North Jersey with a pixelated fuzz that never changed.
The biggest hurricane to hit NJ in that last half century, and it didn’t work: couldn’t track it, no projected path, no estimated landfall, nothing!…. and I guess hurricanes don’t matter to anyone once they’re in the North Atlantic!!!!!!
If I were a sailor in the Caribbean, it MIGHT be useful, otherwise you’re better off with the Weather Channel or ANYTHING ELSE.
