Used to be the best fanfiction app
So I wrote a review back when this was first updated singing the praises of the app (praises well deserved before said update and for reasons that are technically still valid). The new ads, however, have completely ruined the experience I’ve had with this app. They’re invasive, constant, and have no cool down. So if you’re trying to go back in a story that has just been updated after a long hiatus because you can’t remember what happened and are just flicking through chapters to get a quick reminder, you WILL get an ad for every chapter you touch. It’s highly frustrating especially considering how fantastic this app used to be. There isn’t even a way to disable them. In the App Store it says there is an in app purchase available but I can’t find anywhere to do so. Please, please, please change how the ads work. Even just putting in a cool down would make it slightly better. (Preferably I would say change it back to a constant ad on the bottom, I genuinely didn’t mind that, but you probably changed it for some reason I don’t understand. So… yeah.)
